Darco Rotowent Dragon chimney hood increases the chimney draft by harnessing the power of the wind. The upper part of the cover always occurs on the opposite side of the wind, regardless of its direction and strength.Thanks to a special patented rotation system (outside mounted ball bearings), this cover is resistant to high temperatures.  Darco Rotowent Dragon is installed and is ideal for the chimneys connected to wood-burning heating systems.
It is recommended to use:
● in case of unfavourable chimney location, in case of wind fluctuations in the upper part of the chimney;
● if there is terrain with an unfavourable configuration, strong and frequent winds;
● if the draft in the chimney is too low;
● if it is necessary to strengthen the natural (gravitational) draft of the chimney.
Other technical characteristics:
● maximum operating temperature 500 °C;
● bearing system - ball bearings in oil resistant to high temperatures;
● The base is made of chrome-plated nickel sheets 1.4301, the cover is made of chrome-plated nickel sheets 1.4404.
